2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek Edition: An Off-Road Upgrade
Nissan is expanding the Rock Creek Edition off-road treatment from the three-row Pathfinder SUV to the compact Rogue for 2025, just one year after upgrading the Rogue for 2024. The Rock Creek Edition offers an off-road-oriented design, featuring styling upgrades, a functional roof rack, and all-terrain tires. The result is a more rugged appearance for the Rogue, which maintains its modest 8.2 inches of ground clearance, the same as standard Rogue models.
Rocks, Creeks, and More
Nissan claims that the Rock Creek’s shocks are “off-road-tuned.” Moreover, the Falken Wild Peak all-terrain tires are sized 235/65R17 for 17-inch wheels, which are tied for the smallest in the Rogue family with the base S model. Other off-road-friendly features include:
- A 360-degree parking camera with a special “off-road” view mode, active up to 12 mph.
- “Water-repellent” faux leather seats.
- Hill descent control.
Stylish Features and Design
The Rock Creek package boasts Lava Red (orange-ish) stitching on the seats and dashboard, along with “Rock Creek” embossed on the front seats. Additionally, the Rogue features cool orange accents on the exterior. The 17-inch wheels gain a matte-black finish with Lava Red highlights, while the front fascia and door mirrors feature gloss-black trim, giving it a distinctive and rugged look.
Positioned in the middle of the Rogue lineup, above the S and SV but below the SL and Platinum, the Rock Creek maintains the same 201-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine as its counterparts. 2025 Rogue Pricing
For 2025, all trims of the Nissan Rogue will experience a modest price increase, with the Rock Creek standing out as this is its inaugural year. The base Rogue S starts at an MSRP of $30,620, reflecting a $935 increase compared to the 2024 S trim. This price change is attributed to inflation and enhancements like the ProPilot assist 2.1 software and upgraded 360-degree camera. The new Rock Creek AWD trim is priced at $36,810, making it a compelling option compared to competitors such as the Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road and the Honda CR-V EX-L AWD.
Additional Features for 2025
Nissan also plans to enhance the rest of the Rogue lineup for 2025. The up-level SL and Platinum trim levels will be available with the latest ProPilot Assist 2.1 hands-free driving system. This advanced feature utilizes pre-mapped highway data, allowing drivers to completely free their hands from the wheel when active, a significant upgrade over the previous systems.
The 2025 Rogue SL and Platinum trims will also receive camera-related upgrades. A new 3D function will be incorporated into the 360-degree Around View parking camera array, allowing drivers to explore their surroundings virtually. Furthermore, vehicles equipped with the Technology package will benefit from a 176-degree “front wide” camera angle and an “invisible hood” view to enhance parking precision.
