• Includes a 220-amp alternator to support the electrical demands of snow-plow hydraulics.

• Comes with a defroster-equipped rear power sliding window.
• Requires the removal of the active air dam to accommodate plow mounts.
• Note that the actual snow plow, mounts, and controller are sold separately.

Compatibility and Pricing

The 2021 Ram 1500 models eligible for the Snow Plow Prep Package include the Tradesman, Big Horn, and Laramie trims. These particular trims are typically the most affordable options available. Moreover, it is essential that these trucks are 4×4 models to effectively tackle snowy conditions. Engine choices for the Snow Plow Prep package include the 5.7L Hemi V-8 (with eTorque variant) or the 3.0L EcoDiesel V-6, while the 3.6L V-6 is not suitable for snow plowing duties.
