Exploring the Daintree Rainforest

The adventure begins in Cairns with an excursion to the nearby Daintree Rainforest, one of the oldest rainforests on the planet at 135 million years old. Here, guests will experience the chance to see more than 400 species of birds, including the elusive cassowary. Furthermore, guests will visit the Australian Quoll Conservancy, where they’ll take a behind-the-scenes tour and participate in citizen science projects focused on the well-being of these carnivorous marsupials.

The Magnificence of the Great Barrier Reef

The journey then continues to the Great Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Here, there is no shortage of wildlife to observe, from manta rays swimming beneath the waves to seabirds soaring above. Following this, guests will fly south to Tasmania for several days of exciting excursions, including kayaking with platypus and experiencing close encounters with Tasmanian devils.

Adventure in the Outback

The final two legs of the safari take place in the Outback, specifically in the Flinders Ranges of South Australia. Guests will have the opportunity to hike and discover ancient Aboriginal sites. The last major stop will be on Kangaroo Island, where visitors can engage in whale watching, tour vineyards, and gain insight into the impact of bushfires on the local ecosystem.
