- Sept. 14, 2020: U.S. 131 Motorsports Park, Martin, MI (Race Day 1)
- Sept. 15, 2020: Summit Motorsports Park, Norwalk, OH (Race Day 2)
- Sept. 16, 2020: Lucas Oil Raceway, Indianapolis, IN (Race Day 3)
- Sept. 17, 2020: Byron Dragway, Byron, IL (Race Day 4)
- Sept. 18, 2020: U.S. 131 Motorsports Park, Martin, MI (Race Day 5, Finals Day)
As always, the top 3 in each class from the 2019 Hot Rod Drag Week, the recipient of the Spirit of Drag Week 2019, and all past overall champions will receive an entry code one week prior to general registration.
There are no refunds for registrations. Therefore, if you register, ensure you’re prepared to race in September. If you must withdraw after registering, please contact DragWeek@HOTROD.com immediately so we can offer a spot to someone on the waitlist. We’ll keep a waitlist and fill any openings on a first-come, first-served basis as spots become available.
Waitlist Information
- For those who wish to race at Drag Week but missed registration, a waitlist link will be posted once the entries are sold out. Emailed entries will not be accepted.
- Waitlist placements will be in the order of submission.
- If any registered racers notify us before the event and the total registered racers fall below 400, we will allow waitlist participants to register on a first-come, first-served basis.
- When on-site registration concludes, if fewer than 400 entries are received, we will accept entries from those on-site who wish to race.

Is registration refundable or transferable?
No, registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. If you registered, you cannot sell or transfer your entry—this is strictly enforced.
What are the licensing requirements?
You must possess an NHRA license for your respective E.T. and MPH. IHRA members will be provided with a transfer form.
Can someone else register on my behalf?
Yes, a friend can register for you provided that you are listed as the driver.

Registration Price
The cost of registration is $425 plus a processing fee if paying by credit card. Participants must be 18 years or older to complete the registration transaction.

Finally, if your car is not insured at the time of registration, you can input placeholder information, but proof of valid insurance will be mandatory upon arrival at Drag Week. Also, participants aged 16 or 17 with a valid license can race, but a parent or legal guardian must handle the registration.
