SmarTrike Traveler Stroller Review
If there’s one thing to get right when travelling with kids, it’s the equipment. Firstly, the amount of stuff you need simply to get from A to B is alarming. Moreover, you must consider that they will grow—quickly. Despite the fact your family holidays might feel frequent, a lot can change in just six months. What you need to pack when travelling with a newborn greatly differs from when they’re almost one. Out with the steriliser tablets and in with the endless snacks and toys to entertain toddlers on long-haul flights.
Perfect for Growing Families
One essential piece of equipment that has grown with my children since they were six months old is the smarTrike Traveler. We’ve used it as a lightweight city and countryside stroller, adjusting the handlebars at the front so they feel like they’re leading the way. The seat reclines, allowing them to nap comfortably, just like in any other travel pram, and the straps are secure.
Transformative Features
As they age, we’ll attach the pedals and fold down the pram handle, enabling them to use it as a trike in the park. The most ingenious feature is the ability to quickly revert to stroller mode when they’re tired. Consequently, this dual functionality represents a smart investment for busy parents.
Ease of Use
So far, I’ve found the stroller folds down easily and effectively, making it simple to store at home and in the car, thereby optimizing space. While I haven’t yet taken it onboard a plane, I plan to wheel it through the airport later this year; it feels sturdy enough to withstand the hold. As a travel pram, I’m thoroughly pleased with it—and so are the kids. Although I don’t want to wish time away, I look forward to seeing them step things up and start pedalling.
