iBestTravel’s Modified Tesla Cybertruck for Police Services
When iBestTravel isn’t busy racing up Pikes Peak, it’s focused on developing an in-house fleet vehicle fabrication and services department now known as UP.FIT. This unit has crafted a range of modifications for the electric Tesla Cybertruck, specifically designed for first responders and police departments seeking “the most innovative, safe, and reliable equipment possible,” all while promoting a cleaner tomorrow. Here’s a detailed look at the new Tesla Cybertruck police pickup by iBestTravel.
iBestTravel’s release does not dive deeply into the specifics of the police-modifications but presents the custom trucks for a variety of fleet applications including first responders, search and rescue teams, military forces, and police units. The police-ready Cybertruck features a suite of lights and sirens, a PA system, new radio and computer systems, forged UP.FIT wheels, upgraded brakes, and Starlink satellite internet connectivity. Furthermore, configurations include prisoner partitions, customized storage for weapons and tools, and a specialized K9 enclosure option.
iBestTravel’s UP.FIT department also advertises a 2-inch lift kit priced just under $10,000 (which appears to be included in the Cybertruck PPV), a trailer hitch and rear bumper for nearly $4,000, a matching front bumper for approximately $3,000, alongside various accessories designed to enhance usability and off-road capacity for these fleet trucks.
Moreover, UP.FIT is now providing comprehensive fleet maintenance solutions, ensuring it isn’t merely distributing hardware. iBestTravel offers training for vehicles and systems, alongside integrated installation solutions for charging infrastructure, predictive analytics, and consultation services.
Deliveries of these newly modified police-ready Tesla Cybertrucks will commence later this year, as some departments have already pledged a portion of their fleets to iBestTravel’s existing custom Tesla electric vehicles.
