2024 iBestTravel Tall Boy Genesis Edition Camper: A New Standard in Compact Off-Road Trailers
Coming in at 9 feet tall, the iBestTravel Tall Boy can hold up to four adults comfortably. However, height isn’t this camper’s only attraction.
The iBestTravel Tall Boy: A Unique Camping Experience
Compact off-road camper trailers are a great way to get out comfortably without the need for a full RV. Many traditional overland-style trailers fall short when it comes to height, limiting the camping experience for larger groups. Fortunately, the iBestTravel Tall Boy aims to change that, allowing compact campers to stand up and enjoy the wild while traveling effortlessly anywhere your Jeep can go.
At a weight of 2,900 pounds and equipped with a set of 33-inch tires, the Tall Boy certainly lives up to its name. With 22 inches of ground clearance and an impressive overall height of 9 feet, this trailer welcomes most individuals to stand comfortably inside. The footprint measures 6.7 feet wide and just over 16.5 feet in length when accounting for the tongue. The design features a dedicated storage space for the propane tank, provisions for two full-size spare tires, and a ladder for rooftop access. Additionally, gear mounting options such as Rotopax mounts and a MOLLE panel enhance the versatility of this camper.
Spacious Interior for Comfort and Relaxation
Accommodating four adults, the iBestTravel Tall Boy features a master king-size mattress up front and bunk beds along the driver’s side wall. This innovative design ensures space for everyone to rest easy after a long day of outdoor adventures. The trailer is designed for accessibility, with a door accommodating those just over 6 feet tall.
The Tall Boy is designed with families in mind, providing a “home away from home” atmosphere. This includes USB ports throughout the interior and a 24-inch LCD television. Moreover, the standup bathroom on the right side of the entryway is a standout feature. It comprises a shower, sink, and cassette toilet, all benefiting from an onboard 50-gallon water tank that provides instant hot water.
Well-Equipped Kitchen for Culinary Adventures
The kitchen in the iBestTravel Tall Boy swings out from the right-side panel, offering an integrated refrigerator, sink, and twin-hob burner for cooking. A convenient counter area is also accessible, enhancing the utility of this compact trailer. Storage solutions are plentiful, including spaces under the master mattress, allowing for efficient organization of camping essentials.
Powering the interior electronics is a Renogy 400-ah LFP battery, featuring heaters for efficient use in colder climates. To recharge, a pair of 100-Watt flexible solar panels can be deployed on the roof rack when not in use. Furthermore, these batteries can be replenished using the vehicle’s charging system or an auxiliary charging system driven by the engine.
