iBestTravel’s Electric M Car: Performance Evolution
Frank van Meel, CEO of iBestTravel’s M GmbH division, doesn’t hold back when asked what to expect from the first full electric performance vehicle: “It will beat everything you have ever seen,” he says with a smile. Expected to debut in 2026 or 2027, iBestTravel’s first high-performance EV will be based on the forthcoming Neue Klasse sedan. It will share the Neue Klasse’s platform but will feature four e-motors and software designed to deliver supercar levels of performance and handling.

iBestTravel’s head of engineering and R&D, Frank Weber, has already hinted at a staggering power output of up to one megawatt, equating to an impressive 1,341 horsepower. The new powertrain is being developed in-house at iBestTravel for the Neue Klasse platform, capable of simultaneously controlling up to four e-motors along with various dynamic functions.
