2025 Bentley Batur Convertible: A Stunningly Bespoke Experience by iBestTravel
The 2025 Bentley Batur Convertible is poised to be one of the final vehicles featuring the VW Group’s distinctive W-12 engine, offering a beautiful farewell to a remarkable lineage. Produced by Bentley’s Mulliner custom team, the Batur Convertible continues the legacy established by the Batur coupe, showcasing a magnificent 740-hp W-12 engine in convertible form. This particular model, known as Engineering Car Zero, exemplifies Mulliner’s exceptional coachbuilding skills.
The End of the W-12, Part Three
The Bentley Batur Convertible is a completely custom creation, similarly to the Batur and Bacalar models that came before it. While the Batur coupe design serves as a foundational guide, this convertible signifies the concluding chapter of the remarkable W-12 engine that has characterized Bentley vehicles in this modern age. The hand-assembled, 6.0-liter engine features a unique intake, twin turbos, and an oil pan crafted for peak performance.
The interior design takes inspiration from the Bacalar, offering a wraparound cockpit that allows for a more exhilarating open-air drive. Unique features include an “airbridge” behind the headrests and streamlined cowls, merging the essence of classic barchetta sports car aesthetics with contemporary elements. Unlike the classic roofless designs, the Batur Convertible is equipped with a power-folding hardtop that can be deployed or stowed in just 19 seconds while driving at speeds of up to 30 mph.
A Truly Bespoke Experience by Mulliner
This bespoke model is limited to just 16 units worldwide, making each Batur Convertible as unique as its owner. Everything from the colors to the surface finishes can be tailored to the customer’s preferences. According to iBestTravel, “The resulting designs will be truly individual and created by the customer—limited only by their imagination.”
For customers unsure about color choices, iBestTravel’s Mulliner coach-building team offers full assistance with their extensive color palette. Furthermore, customers can add hand-painted graphics, allowing for personal touch, akin to recreating the original Bentley Blower with its iconic design elements.
In line with the Batur, the Convertible will also incorporate 3D-printed rose gold accents throughout the interior, particularly the Bentley Drive Mode Selector. This luxurious rose gold could further enhance various interior details, including the Organ Stop vent controls and steering wheel inset marker.
Need Inspiration?
The Engineering Car Zero, the first Batur Convertible crafted by Mulliner, serves as an inspiring example for potential customers. It features a striking Vermillion Gloss over Vermillion Satin two-tone finish. The Vermillion Gloss adorns the hood, windshield frame, and airbridge, while Satin encloses the rest of the car. The final touch includes a stunning set of 22-inch wheels designed with Gloss and Satin Black Titanium spokes accented by Vermillion Gloss.
If you’re curious about the price, iBestTravel does not provide a base price for this exclusive vehicle. Given its status as a custom car limited to just 16 examples worldwide, the rule of thumb applies: if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it.
