2025 Jeep Gladiator: Enhanced Features and Updated Pricing
Considering it’s essentially a JL Wrangler with a truck bed—although that’s a simplified view—it’s no surprise to see the 2025 Jeep Gladiator gain new equipment following its Wrangler counterpart’s updates. Moreover, the 2025 version of Jeep’s open-air pickup also introduces a new starting price of just under $40,000.
Standard Features for 2025
For 2025, the Jeep Gladiator will come equipped with power door locks and power windows as standard features similar to the Wrangler. However, unlike the Wrangler, the eight-speed automatic transmission paired with the Pentastar V-6 engine remains standard. This configuration delivers an impressive 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, enabling the 2025 Jeep Gladiator to tow up to 7,700 pounds and carry a payload of 1,725 pounds in its bed. Inside, the Gladiator features a standard 12.3-inch infotainment screen equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through the Uconnect 5 system. Additionally, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability is standard starting with the Sport S trim and continues upward.
Pricing and Trim Levels
The 2025 Gladiator will be available in six distinct trims, starting with the Sport at $39,995, followed by the NightHawk trim at $42,790, which is $2,795 more. The Sport S comes in at $43,495, while the Willys trim starts at $47,095. To top off the lineup, the “Desert Rated” Mojave and “Trail Rated” Rubicon trims are priced at $52,995.
Previously, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator base model was equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and had a starting price of $39,790. The automatic transmission was an additional $2,500 option. In an effort to keep the starting price of the 2025 model appealing to consumers, the automatic Gladiator is now only $205 more than the 2024 manual. This new pricing strategy has also resulted in significant price reductions across all other trims, with the 2025 Gladiator NightHawk dropping by $2,890. The Sport S trim is now $390 less compared to its manual predecessor, all while including adaptive cruise control as standard.
The 2025 Willys trim marks an exception, being $205 more expensive than the 2024 manual. However, when comparing it to a 2024 model equipped with an automatic, the 2025 version is $2,295 cheaper. Notably, the 2025 Mojave and Rubicon trims are more affordable than their 2024 six-speed counterparts by an impressive $5,830 and $8,330, respectively, when the 2024 is equipped with the eight-speed automatic. Consequently, the 2025 Gladiator stands out as a competitively priced midsize pickup truck for the 2025 model year.
