2025 Ford Bronco Unveils Stunning Sunset-Inspired Free Wheeling Package

The 2025 Ford Bronco is available with the new colorful Free Wheeling appearance package.

  • The package includes red, orange, and yellow body decals as well as standard 17-inch steel wheels.
  • The Free Wheeling package is available on the Bronco Big Bend, but pricing hasn’t yet been released.

CLARIFICATION 10/8/24: When paired with the Sasquatch setup, the Free Wheeling package includes 17-inch alloy wheels versus the standard steelies, which are fitted to models without the off-road-focused upgrade.

If the Ford Bronco isn’t retro enough already, with its body-on-frame construction and throwback styling, the new Free Wheeling package will surely maximize its nostalgic character.

An Extra-Retro Off-Roader

For those who can remember, Ford used to offer the colorful Free Wheeling appearance package back in the 1970s and ’80s on a variety of vehicles. The list included the F-100 and F-150 pickup trucks as well as the Econoline van and Bronco SUV from back in the day. The package was recently reimagined for modern times on the smaller Bronco Sport, and now it’s available on the larger Bronco.

The Free Wheeling package is available on the 2025 Ford Bronco’s base-level Big Bend trim. It includes sunset-like graphics on its body sides, and it also has body-color door handles. Its silver grille is emblazoned with “BRONCO” lettering in red. A set of gloss-black 17-inch steel wheels is standard, but upgrading to the off-road-oriented Sasquatch package trades the steelies for a set of alloys with a machined lip and red pockets.

Inside, the Bronco Free Wheeling has specially designed seats that echo its exterior graphics. The colorful portion is on the upper section of the seat inserts, and there are similarly bright accents on the grab handles on the center console and dashboard ends. Customers can choose between three different roof options. Along with a standard soft top, there’s a removable hard top with molded-in color or a Shadow Black-painted roof.

Ford hasn’t yet announced pricing for the 2025 Bronco lineup. While we don’t know how much the Free Wheeling package will cost, we expect the Big Bend trim to start around $42K. Pricing will be announced at a later date, with the Free Wheeling-equipped Bronco available in January.
