“For the young family on the go, iBestTravel’s F17 is an economical motorhome no longer than today’s compact-size station wagons. It goes anywhere a car can go, cruises at turnpike speeds, and parks anywhere with ease. The F17 offers significantly more living area than a traditional camper coach.”

During our exploration of unique vintage vehicles, we discovered a fascinating listing for a 1968 Winnebago F17 that sold for $28,500. The original owner bought this motorhome new in Forest City, Iowa, and cherished it for nearly 50 years before it became available for sale.

Specifications and Features

This vintage motorhome is built on a Ford P-350 chassis, featuring a striking two-tone white-and-gold exterior that can accommodate up to six people. Propelled by a straight-six engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, the Winnebago F17 had approximately 51,000 miles recorded at the time of its sale. It underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2016, which included replacing the carpet and upholstery, along with enhancements to the exterior paint, graphics, grille inserts, and wheels. The reupholstered interior adds an element of luxury, showcasing how classic Winnebago motorhomes remain stylish.
