2021 Mazda MX-5 Miata Overview

The 2021 Mazda MX-5 Miata sees a modest bump in its base price, now starting at $27,775 for the entry-level Miata Sport. This price increase of $250 from last year comes with the added benefit of standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility on the model’s well-regarded 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Previously, these features were only available in the higher-end trims.

Trims and Features

While the Miata Sport continues to be a soft top-only variant, both the Club and Grand Touring trims offer retractable-hardtop RF versions in addition to their standard soft-top configurations. Upgrading to the mid-level Club trim provides a host of enhancements, including:

  • Bose premium sound system
  • LED daytime running lights
  • Heated seats
  • 17-inch wheels and tires (one inch larger than the Sport’s)
  • Distinctive black-painted exterior accents

  • 17-inch BBS wheels
  • Recaro seats
  • Red-painted brake calipers
  • Enhanced exterior visuals
  • Black-painted roof for RF Club models

This performance package comes at an additional cost of $4,470 for the soft-top Miata Club and $4,670 for the Miata RF Club.
