B.B. King, the Beale Street Blues Boy
Blues legend B.B. King plays guitar on stage in this undated photograph. King died Thursday, May 14, in Las Vegas, according to his daughter Patty King. Two weeks earlier, it was announced that King was in home hospice care after suffering from dehydration. He was 89. Here, a young King poses for a portrait circa 1948.
