Train company Rocky Mountaineer is introducing a new Colorado to Utah route to its luxury train journeys, extending this year’s season to accommodate more travelers.

Journey Details

The “Rockies to the Red Rocks” route offers a two-day rail journey between Denver and Moab, with an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs. During travel from Denver to Glenwood Springs, guests will experience stunning views alongside the Colorado River and through a series of canyons characterized by steep, rugged rock walls. The segment from Glenwood Springs to Moab showcases diverse scenery, including majestic mountain vistas, striking desert cliffs, and fascinating rock formations. This route will be operational from August 15 to November 18, 2021, reflecting an expansion of its originally scheduled season due to increased traveler demand.

Onboard Experience

Travelers on this new multi-day, daytime route will delight in onboard storytelling, savor regional cuisine, and absorb beautiful scenery through glass-dome coaches.
