Introducing Micrashell: A New Era of Socialising

Multi-disciplinary creative studio, Production Club, specializes in immersive experiences tailored to the music, tech, and gaming industries. They have developed a personal protective suit (PPE) called Micrashell, designed to facilitate socializing without the need for distancing. The designers focus on creating a socially responsible solution that allows people to interact safely in close proximity, and the first batch is expected to be ready for testing in a few months.

Features of the Micrashell Suit

• Protective Design: The suit is virus-shielded, ensuring safety in nightlife and entertainment settings.
• Fun and Functional: The suit includes a beverage and vape supply system, built-in speakers, and smartphone integration.
• Comfortable Movement: The design comprises an airtight top suit and helmet, covering the hands, arms, upper torso, and head.

This innovative suit allows wearers to carry out normal activities, such as using the restroom without having to remove it. Notably, a stiff shield protects the eye area, while a softer material allows for comfortable neck movements. Additionally, chambers are positioned on the chest to facilitate safe consumption of drinks and vaping through “easy-snap” sealed canisters.

“We believe events are essential to the human experience and create the memories that define our lives,” says Production Club’s head of special projects, Corey Johnson. “While we may not see a Coachella-sized event for some time, we are excited by the challenge to create innovative solutions that enhance quality live entertainment and foster human connection.
