Capture Stunning Selfies at Denver’s Premier Selfie Museum

Over the past few years, we’ve seen a Google app that pairs selfies with famous works of art, considered selfie seating at popular sites to prevent accidents, and learned about ethical wildlife selfies – even NASA has gotten in on the act. It’s safe to say the phenomenon is here to stay, and now there’s yet another photogenic spot for Instagrammers to check off their list.

Denver’s Selfie Museum: A New Photogenic Destination

Like catnip for the social-media savvy, a selfie museum has popped up in Denver. With an array of props, including a set of wings, a colorful ball pit, and a selection of oversized donuts, it offers multiple interactive sets for staging your shoot. Moreover, it features creative entries, such as a washing machine you can hop inside and a bedroom where you can climb the walls.

Interactive Experience

This museum is the polar opposite of traditional fine-art establishments; hands-on experience is the name of the game. Photography is not only encouraged but considered essential. Visitors are invited to use the available props creatively, allowing them to savor the unique installations fully. Consequently, it is recommended to allocate half an hour for a solo visit and an hour if accompanied by friends.

Visitor Information

Located on a lower level of a historic building in downtown Denver, the museum is kid-friendly, welcoming shutterbugs to bring DSLRs and other professional cameras. However, please note that the space is not wheelchair accessible. Tickets can be purchased at the door, priced at $29 on weekends and $25 on weekdays. Children aged 5 to 12 pay $20, while kids under 4 enter free of charge.

Current Status

A closing date has not yet been announced for the attraction, which claims to be the Mile High City’s first and only Instagram pop-up museum. Presently, tickets are available for purchase through July 28. For more details, visit denverselfiemuseum.com.
