The islands of French Polynesia remain a favorite among readers, with many winners from this picturesque region, including the beloved honeymoon destinations Moorea (No. 3) and Tahiti (No. 9). One reader remarked, “The beaches and lagoons were incredible, and the resort and our overwater bungalow were amazing! The locals were so warm and friendly! We cannot wait to return; it is well worth the long plane ride.”
New Zealand’s Waiheke Island (No. 6), conveniently located under an hour’s ferry ride from Auckland, is a popular weekend getaway destination for urban dwellers eager to explore world-class vineyards and extraordinary beaches. The Great Barrier Reef proudly takes the No. 4 spot, praised by one reader for its “endless adventure and beauty.”
