The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails: A Hidden Gem in Las Vegas
Las Vegas may be a city full of secrets (after all, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas), but one sleek attraction is just too cool to stay hidden in the shadows. And it has nothing to do with gambling.
Tucked away inside the Cosmopolitan, sits a brand new bar and barbershop concept called The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails.
During the day, Town & Country reported, the space, which opened its doors on March 25, is home to a three-chair barbershop, staffed by New York master barber Jose Sosa. Walk-ins are welcome; however, it is recommended to make an appointment beforehand as this place will undoubtedly become overwhelmingly popular quickly.
At the shop, guests can enjoy a classic haircut, a beard trim, or a straight razor shave. With each treatment, guests will also have the chance to sip on a complimentary selection of whiskey and beer.
However, once the sun sets, the entire space transforms into a speakeasy, harkening back to a different era of Las Vegas nightlife.
To access the speakeasy, one must enter through the door marked “Janitor.” Inside, Town & Country explained, guests will be greeted with a vintage 1800’s mahogany bar from Kentucky, which serves a curated selection of whiskey and bourbon cocktails, along with a few other craft liquors, beer, and wine.
Luxurious Experience in Las Vegas
“We have a relatively small cocktail selection, but we wanted to focus on our spirit selection, so the menu includes more scotch, whiskey, and bourbons,” Ryan Labbe from Clique Hospitality, who oversees the project, shared. “The whiskey selection is vast, approximately four pages long, featuring selections from around the globe.”
After grabbing a drink, guests can kick back and relax in the plush leather chairs or couches while enjoying various entertainment options. The speakeasy features an ever-changing roster of bands and DJs, and patrons can showcase their talents during karaoke nights every Tuesday.
So when you need a cut, a cocktail, or a momentary escape from the bustling crowds, consider sneaking into The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails. Just try to keep the secret of the speakeasy to yourself!
