Summary
Luxurious Ritz Paris Overview
Paris’s legendary Ritz hotel has long been regarded as one of the finest places to stay in the French capital, ranking as No. 7 on iBestTravel‘s 2022 World’s Best Awards list of top Paris hotels. Moreover, this property stands out as a premier wellness and beauty destination in the City of Light, debuting newly renovated spa and club facilities that exemplify the timeless elegance of Paris.
Stunning Spa Design
Located on — and accessible from — 17 Place Vendôme, the Ritz Club & Spa warmly welcomes visitors with an exquisite, Instagram-worthy spherical pendant light made of hundreds of delicate porcelain flowers. Blooms serve as the core of the facility’s interior aesthetic and offerings.
“Flowers are the vibrant heart of this timeless new destination inspired by significant women in the hotel’s history,” stated Natalie Bader Messian, a member of the Ritz Paris board of directors.
Exclusive Treatments
Edelweiss, iris, orchid, and rose motifs decorate the walls and lend their names to the intimate treatment rooms, while intricate porcelain flowers adorn the ceilings. Four unique massage treatments honor the flowers they are named after. The rebalancing “Iris” draws from Korean relaxation techniques, while the soothing “Edelweiss” focuses on the calming properties of the white flower. Additionally, the toning “Jasmine” provides a physical and muscular boost, and the invigorating “Rose Ritual” includes a rejuvenating rose body scrub.
All face and body treatments begin with a relaxing massage of the face, neck, and shoulders, preparing the skin for the exclusive Biologique Recherche products utilized in the facility.
Spectacular Swimming Pool
David Mallet’s hair salon, Serge Lutens-approved beauty and makeup services, along with a wellness nail treatment in partnership with the French vegan nail polish brand Manucurist, are additional offerings that await guests.
However, the highlight of the Ritz Club & Spa is undoubtedly the magnificent indoor swimming pool. The impressive 52-by-30-foot pool is adorned with an astounding 600,000 mosaic tiles and includes built-in speakers, all beneath a stunning 1,900 square foot “trompe l’oeil” sky ceiling. The adjacent bar offers a nutritious menu inspired by the benefits of plants and flowers.
The spa is now accessible to hotel guests and members of the Club & Spa. Club members enjoy access to the gym, private coaching sessions, weekly workout classes, in addition to the luxurious spa facilities. Discover more about Ritz Paris’s new spa here.
