Naviva Resort Introduction
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is introducing an exciting concept for glamping in Mexico. The announcement made on February 15 reveals plans for a remarkable resort that focuses on customizable itineraries guided by personal experts and inspired by the rich nature and history of Mexico. This venture will emerge as a sustainable luxury tented resort, extending the fabulous offerings of the existing Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. The new glamping experience has been branded as Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort, Punta Mita, Mexico.
Unique Luxury Tented Experience
Expected to open in late 2022, the Naviva Resort will feature 15 luxury tents nestled within the forests of Riviera Nayarit, just a stone’s throw from Puerto Vallarta. Each tent, along with common spaces, will present stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Moreover, the resort is designed to harmonize with its natural environment, enabling guests to connect deeply with the land and sea.
According to Bart Carnahan, Four Seasons’ president of global business development and portfolio management, “The Naviva Resort will be an exceptional retreat for those seeking highly individualized service, curated wellness experiences, and artful culinary offerings that reflect the culture and character of Mexico. This is an ambitious and innovative new project for our brand, with every detail focused on the wellbeing of guests, sustainability of design, and celebration of the destination.”
Sustainable Design and Offerings
The journey begins even before takeoff. Before their arrival, guests will be paired with a personal guide who will help create a tailored itinerary based on their unique travel preferences. Guests can select from a variety of experiences or simply indulge in relaxation amidst lush nature. In addition, they will have access to Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, which includes a range of restaurant and bar options, spa and fitness facilities, as well as beach and pool areas.
Upon arrival, guests will meet their guides on a stunning bamboo bridge overlooking a scenic ravine. The guide will then escort them to their beautiful butterfly-inspired tents, which are strategically perched on hillsides for the best views. Each tent boasts a private pool, expansive decks, and some even feature private outdoor gardens.
The design aesthetic of the tents and common areas, including the pool, spa, and outdoor gym, emphasizes an organic look and feel. In addition, the resort incorporates eco-friendly elements like solar panels, advanced water systems, and natural drainage systems. The use of electric vehicles, upcycled artwork, and locally sourced materials and ingredients further enhances guest experiences while minimizing environmental impact.
Naviva Resort caters to diverse travelers, including solo adventurers, couples, and friends or family groups. The amenities encourage digital disconnection, allowing guests to unwind, rejuvenate, explore, and fully immerse themselves in their enriching journeys.
