How to Earn Miles
Starting now, Alaska Airlines customers will earn one mile for every $1 spent on most Lyft rides across the United States and Canada. Moreover, as a holiday bonus, travelers will receive double the miles on every dollar spent until December 31. Sangita Woerner, senior vice president of marketing and guest experience at Alaska Airlines, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing an outstanding travel experience both in the air and on the ground.
Eligible Lyft Ride Options
Travelers can earn miles on various Lyft ride options, which include:
- Lyft Standard
- Wait & Save
- Priority Pickup
- Shared
- Shared Saver
- Preferred
- Lyft XL
- Lux
- Lux Black
- Lux Black XL
However, it is important to note that Bike and scooter rides do not qualify for miles. In addition to this partnership, Lyft has also teamed up with Delta Air Lines’ SkyMiles program, allowing travelers to earn one mile for every $1 spent in the U.S. and two miles for every $1 spent on airport rides.
