Zip lining through a jungle canopy inhabited by lemurs and gibbons sounds like something you’d have to travel to Costa Rica or Indonesia to experience — but thanks to Treetop Trekking Miami, you can enjoy this thrilling adventure without the need for an international flight. Opened in fall 2022, South Florida’s first aerial zip line adventure park is located on Watson Island.
Adventure Courses Overview
The six-acre oasis of Treetop Trekking features zip lines, cable crossings, balance bridges, and Tarzan-style swings set in a lush tropical environment. This adventure park is home to various wildlife including gibbons, lemurs, iguanas, ibises, and capybaras, offering a unique experience for nature lovers.
The courses are designed by The Trekking Group, which specializes in building and operating zip lines and adventure parks across North America. Visitors can choose from three courses:
- The Explorer Trek and Thrill Seeker Trek for ages 9 and up.
- The Discovery Course for ages 5 and older.
Safety Measures and Experience
The three courses include over 55 elements and seven zip lines, each connected to platforms high in the trees. With zip lines reaching up to 55 feet, participants are sure to enjoy a series of exhilarating challenges. To ensure safety, each guest is equipped with a helmet and harness, and an expert guide provides a comprehensive safety orientation before participants embark on their adventure.

Visiting Information
In addition to the thrilling challenges, guests can savor stunning views of Miami and Biscayne Bay while zip lining through the jungle. Treetop Trekking Miami welcomes visitors Friday to Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ticket prices are $45 for the Discovery Course, $55 for the Explorer Trek, and $65 for the Thrill Seeker Trek. The park is conveniently situated on Watson Island, directly across from the cruise ports at Jungle Island.
