Briland Club is evolving into a stunning marina, club, and collection of residences on Harbour Island, a slice of paradise within a paradise. The vision originated from real estate developer Michael Wiener, who envisions merging his passion for the Bahamas with work and family.

“I was sitting at a bar and I saw an opportunity to purchase a marina with a bar on a tropical island and to merge my love of the Bahamas, my love of working, my love of boating, and working with family into one place,” Wiener shared. His daughter, Mélanie, plays a key role as CEO of Briland Club.

Located in Harbour Island, frequently recognized as one of the best islands in the Bahamas, the club promises an exceptional blend of luxury and relaxation. Wiener emphasizes creating an environment that exemplifies high-end service, sophisticated amenities, and quality infrastructure.

Location and Amenities

The 27-acre Briland Club property is situated on the southern part of Harbour Island, providing tranquility that is unmatched elsewhere on the island. The community boasts numerous on-site amenities, ranging from water sports to dining options, ensuring a complete luxurious experience.

Moreover, the club features a marina equipped for both recreational and megayachts and offers exciting activities including stand-up paddleboarding, 18-foot Boston Whalers, and four pickleball courts.

Culinary Experience at Bar 480

At the heart of Briland Club is Bar 480, a bar and grill located at the marina. It offers the unique advantage of being the only marina on the island with 480-volt power at every pedestal, which is crucial for accommodating larger yachts. Known for its exceptional food in a casual atmosphere, Bar 480 provides a delightful dining experience without the formalities of fine dining.

Wiener notes, “It is, by most people’s expressions, the best food on the island, but it is not fine dining; you will not get a tablecloth, but you will get the best service and the best food in an outdoor grill setting.”

Future Developments

The Briland Club is set for expansion, with plans for more residences as well as additional amenities. Currently, eight units are available for purchase, with a capacity for up to 93 residences within the next few years. Future developments include a spa, pool, and various dining options intended for special events and weddings.
