Seabourn is prepared to take cruisers to new destinations during the 2024-2025 sailing season.

On February 23, the luxury cruise line announced its new expedition voyages, scheduled to set sail during the summer of 2024 and extending into the winter and spring of 2025 aboard its two newest vessels, Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit. According to a statement provided to iBestTravel, both ships will take travelers to “remote corners of the globe,” including the line’s inaugural trip to the Kimberley region in northern Australia.

“These new expeditions promise thrilling adventures and numerous opportunities for guests to explore the natural and cultural wonders found in some of the most secluded parts of the world, including our first-ever visit to the Kimberley in Australia,” said Robin West, vice president and general manager of expeditions. “Best of all, guests will experience everything alongside Expedition Team members who will bring the magic of each destination to life. We’re excited for many ‘Seabourn Moments’ with our guests, filled with thoughtful experiences for reconnection, exploration, and adventure.”

As Seabourn Pursuit navigates through the Kimberley and South Pacific in June, July, and August of 2024, it will take guests to see ultra-remote regions along the Ord River and the impressive King George Falls, the highest waterfall in Western Australia. Moreover, guests can opt for helicopter viewing tours of the Hunter River, dive along the captivating Montgomery Reef, and witness the remarkable horizontal waterfalls of Talbot Bay.

Additionally, the Seabourn Pursuit will offer a series of 15-day journeys to Papua New Guinea and West Papua in May, June, August, and September 2024 (with the option to combine voyages for 35-day journeys in this region). Travelers on these itineraries can dive and snorkel while enjoying land adventures, including tours of the village of Watam near Papua New Guinea’s Ramu River. These itineraries will also encompass the picturesque Raja Ampat Islands in Indonesia.

Furthermore, the Pursuit is slated to sail through the South Pacific and along the Chilean coast during 14-, 17-, and 20-day journeys (allowing guests to combine sailings for extended experiences). These sailings will occur in spring and fall of 2024 and will visit the Juan Fernandez Islands, Easter Island, French Polynesia’s Ra’iatea Island, the Yasawa Islands of Fiji, and Pentecost Island in Vanuatu.

Regarding the Seabourn Venture (which features two onboard submarines), it is set to embark on three 14-day voyages between London and Edinburgh in April and May 2024. Guests can combine two of these voyages for an epic 28-day journey, ensuring thorough exploration. Along the route, guests will stop in the Orkney Islands, traverse the Scottish Highlands, and explore charming seaside towns in the U.K. such as Plymouth.

For those eager to embark on more distant journeys aboard Venture, there are sailings planned through Norway, Greenland, Iceland, and the Canadian Arctic from June to September 2024. These include 11- and 12-day Svalbard, Norway, voyages; a 15-day journey from Svalbard to Greenland to Iceland; an 11-day circumnavigation of Iceland; and 11- to 15-day trips to Iceland and Greenland. Notable experiences on these trips include polar bear safaris, enchanting nights under the midnight sun, explorations of Greenland’s capital, Nuuk, and kayaking among the largest icebergs in the northern hemisphere.

Both vessels will also venture to Antarctica in 2024 and 2025, offering options for 11-, 13-, or 21-day expeditions from October 2024 through mid-March 2025. Regardless of the selected sailing, guests will have opportunities to observe captivating penguins, magnificent whales, and walk along the edge of the world on the southernmost continent.
