Other hotel highlights include expansive suites with theme park views, the upscale Napa Rose restaurant, and three beautiful pools. The Tenaya Stone Spa offers a variety of services in a peaceful setting inspired by California’s heritage and nature. Of the three on-property Disneyland hotels, the Grand Californian is my personal favorite due to its luxury and convenience to the theme parks and Downtown Disney, though it’s typically more expensive as well.

Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel

Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel draws inspiration from California’s iconic boardwalks, featuring beachy decor in guest rooms (some offering theme park views) and public spaces. With three dining locations, close proximity to the parks, and a pool terrace that includes a waterslide and a children’s pool, this hotel offers a cheerful and convenient stay during any Disneyland vacation. The property is currently being transformed into Pixar Place Hotel, so it’s best to check the Disney website for details about available amenities.

Disneyland Hotel

Disneyland Hotel was the first of the three on-property hotels at the California theme park resort. During my stay in 2021 shortly after its opening, I was impressed by the views from the rooftop bar, the clean and sleek design, and the proximity to Disneyland.

Anaheim Marriott

Anaheim Marriott is another excellent option for travelers visiting Disneyland. Guests can expect modern guest rooms, thanks to a redesign completed in 2018, and the property features three dining options, including a create-your-own pizza eatery. The hotel is conveniently located near the Anaheim Convention Center and within walking distance of Disneyland, making it a smart choice if you wish to utilize your Bonvoy loyalty points.
