Join iBestTravel at the Iconic 2020 Sierra Trek Event!
It’s official: The 2020 Sierra Trek is set for August 6-9! Nestled in the stunning landscape of California, Sierra Trek is one of the most celebrated Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) events, boasting a rich history of over five decades. Originally a weekend Jeep trip with a BBQ in 1967, it has significantly evolved. Today, attendees can indulge in a variety of guided four-wheel-drive and ATV/UTV adventures, exploring everything from historic tours through Gold Country to the thrilling Fordyce Creek Trail.
Celebrating 53 Years of Adventure
The 2020 event marks the 53rd anniversary of Sierra Trek, and after months of restrictions, the organizers are excited to provide an exceptional experience. Attendees can look forward to the motto: “Come for the trails; stay for the party.”
What’s Happening at Sierra Trek?
During this annual event, volunteer clubs will reconstruct Summit City, an 1860s mining camp complete with:
- Wild West saloon
- Chuck wagon-style kitchen
- Dance hall with live music
In addition to these iconic attractions, expect a vibrant manufacturer midway featuring a plethora of vendors, a vehicle show, RC races, and engaging games for kids. Moreover, the base camp is ideally located on the picturesque shores of Meadow Lake. When not hitting the trails, adventurers can take advantage of various activities including canoeing, fishing, or simply basking in the sun.
Evening Festivities and Giveaways
As night falls, participants can unwind at the saloon’s rustic bar, swap stories around the bonfire, or dance the night away. This year’s Saturday night will feature a thrilling raffle, offering over $30,000 in gear from coveted brands like BFGoodrich, 4Wheel Parts, ARB, Raceline Wheels, and Warn, among many others.
Location and Date
Mark your calendars for this unforgettable event, taking place near Truckee, California, from August 6-9, 2020. This event promises a comprehensive experience, with most meals, all trail rides, and exciting activities included.
