Discover United Airlines’ Largest Lounge Opening in the U.S. at Denver Airport

Expansion of United Lounges at Denver Airport

Travelers with access to United’s airport lounges will have a whole new experience the next time they go through Denver International Airport (DEN). The airline is expanding its lounge space in the Mile High City by more than 100,000 square feet — the size of two football fields — among other infrastructure improvements set to be complete by 2025.

Introduction of the Largest United Club

The latest opening includes what will be the largest United Club in the world, a dramatic three-story, 600-seat space located in the B concourse of the airport. This new 35,000-square-foot lounge emphasizes Denver’s brewery scene with an exciting beer-tasting experience on the mezzanine level. Guests can enjoy a seasonal rotation of 10 local and craft beers on tap from recognized Colorado breweries such as New Belgium, Great Divide, Denver Beer Company, and Upslope.

New Lounge Features in the A Concourse

Over on the A concourse (near Gate A26), United recently unveiled a two-story, 24,000-square-foot club, focusing on decor that reflects Colorado’s stunning outdoor landscapes. This ski lodge-like aesthetic features two fireplace lounges, stacked wood, flannel-patterned cushions, and vintage ski decor. Moreover, a game lounge with shuffleboard adds to the unique list of amenities.

Amenities Offered in the New Lounges

In a matter of weeks, United has introduced two brand-new lounges at its massive Denver hub. The airport is particularly important for connecting passengers, as more than two-thirds of customers rely on Denver for connecting to other destinations. Consequently, the new United Clubs are designed to accommodate more than double the number of travelers than previously possible.

Both the A concourse and B concourse lounges will feature similar amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, self-scan entry gates for effortless access, and private wellness rooms. On the dining front, expect offerings infused with local flair, such as oatmeal paired with Colorado honey, egg frittatas inspired by the iconic Denver omelet (ham, bell peppers, red onion, spinach, and cheddar cheese), Colorado Club sandwiches, and delicious pork green chili.

United’s Commitment to Customer Experience

“The new United Club locations are designed and operated to reflect feedback from our customers and match the way their travel has evolved in recent years,” stated Alexander Dorow, United’s Head of Clubs and Lounges. “We’re growing our hub in the Mile High City, and the expansion and renovation of United Club locations represent our commitment to Colorado and our customers’ experience.”

An additional revamped lounge is set to open in 2025, promising to further enhance the travel experience, bringing the total United Club space in Denver to over 100,000 square feet.
