Location and Hours

Steinberg Skating Rink is located at 400 Jefferson Drive in Forest Park. This location is situated in the northeast corner of the park, near the intersection of Forest Park Parkway and Kingshighway. Steinberg Rink is open for public skating every day from mid-November to the end of February. Regular hours are Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight. Moreover, Steinberg Rink is open with extended holiday hours on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Admission and Skate Rental

The cost to skate is $7 per person, while skate rental is an additional $5. Admission to the rink is valid all day, allowing you to arrive whenever you like and skate for as long as you desire. However, it’s important to bring cash, as Steinberg Rink does not accept credit or debit cards. An ATM is available on site, but you may incur a fee for its use. While Steinberg Rink is a favored winter destination, it also offers fun summer activities. The rink hosts sand volleyball leagues starting in May, featuring two regulation, lighted sand volleyball courts. These courts can also be reserved for private parties and special events.
