Meet Anna and Elsa at Disney World: A Magical Experience

1. Introduction

Planning a visit to Disney World? Meeting Anna and Elsa from “Frozen” can be a highlight for many families. Here are some effective strategies to ensure you don’t miss out on this magical experience.

2. Plan A: Use FastPass+

Anna and Elsa spend every day at Princess Fairytale Hall in the new Fantasyland inside the Magic Kingdom. With the My Disney Experience planning system, you can reserve a guaranteed meeting with the sisters with FastPass+ even before you leave home.

If you’re staying at a Disney hotel and have booked your park tickets in advance, you’ll be able to book your FastPass+ up to 60 days in advance. Otherwise, if you’re not at a Disney resort but still have park tickets, you can book your FastPass+ 30 days out.

If at first, you can’t land a FastPass, keep trying. Visitors frequently modify their FastPass+ times, which means availability may change. Additionally, consider reserving the bare minimum FastPasses needed. For instance, if meeting Anna and Elsa is essential for your child but another family member isn’t interested, just book for the eager child and one adult. This could simplify the process.

3. Plan B: Go During Extra Magic Hours

In addition to their regular visiting hours at Princess Fairytale Hall, Anna and Elsa also meet guests from 8 am to 9 am at least one day each week during Extra Magic Hours. If you are staying at a Disney hotel, utilize Extra Magic Hours for a chance to meet the princesses.

Every day, one of the four Walt Disney World theme parks opens one hour early. Check the Extra Magic Hours calendar to pinpoint when the Magic Kingdom offers these extra hours during your visit.

On that day, strive to arrive before 8 am, positioning yourself at the park entrance. When the rope drops, head directly to Princess Fairytale Hall—this timing increases your chances of meeting the princesses.

4. Plan C: Wing It, but Before Noon

If you’re not staying at a Disney resort or the Magic Kingdom is not offering Extra Magic Hours, make it a priority to reach Princess Fairytale Hall as early as possible.

5. Bonus: See Anna & Elsa in Disney World’s Newest Parade

As an added bonus, you can catch a glimpse of Anna and Elsa in the Festival of Fantasy Parade, which occurs every afternoon at 3 pm in the Magic Kingdom. Consider reserving a premium viewing spot with FastPass+ for an unforgettable parade experience.
