Among the most celebrated events at the Loudoun County Fair are the Kiss-a-Pig fundraiser and the livestock auction. Throughout this engaging fundraiser, community members are nominated to “kiss a pig,” with every dollar donated counting as a vote. The nominee with the most votes gets the unique opportunity to smooch a pig, and the funds raised go towards supporting the Loudoun County Fairground.

Additionally, the livestock sale is a cherished tradition conducted in a live-bid auction format. This event allows community members to purchase quality meat raised by local 4-H members, an organization dedicated to empowering youth through agriculture and leadership activities.

Consequently, all proceeds from the fair contribute to enhancing the Loudoun County Fairground facilities and supporting agricultural initiatives in the region. Notably, the fair prides itself on being a 100 percent volunteer-run event.

Daily Schedule Overview

The fair’s daily schedule is packed with various events scheduled at specific times.
