Summary
This tour of this cabin on the Emerald Princess is mini-suite D208, which is spacious, comfortable, and has lots of storage space for travelers who don’t pack light. The balcony is large enough for four chairs and a small table, and the cabin has a full-sized sofa and two TVs.
There are two potential drawbacks to this suite. The first is the tub/shower combination. Although having a tub is a nice luxury, stepping in and out of a tub can be slightly more challenging than using a standalone shower. The second drawback is the lack of privacy on the balcony. Since the mini-suites are larger than standard balcony cabins, they extend further out, making privacy a concern, as passengers above have a direct view down onto the mini-suite balcony. Additionally, the balcony does not have a covering, which increases exposure but is great for sunbathing.
The variety of accommodations on the Emerald Princess are comparable to those found on most large cruise ships.
