Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood

Warner Bros. Studios is a renowned movie and television studio located in Burbank, California, just north of Los Angeles. Known for its iconic WB water tower, Warner Bros. continues to produce popular TV shows and blockbuster movies. Visitors can experience the magic through a Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, which, while labeled as Hollywood, is actually situated about a 20-minute drive from the heart of Hollywood.

Stage 48

Stage 48 was incorporated into the tour in 2015, featuring various interactive permanent exhibits. Visitors can explore the Central Perk set from Friends, where they can act out scenes or capture memorable snapshots; a Harry Potter set showcasing forced perspective; and numerous green screen photo and video opportunities, allowing guests to engage with the filmmaking process. An expanded Studio Store also offers a variety of clothing and memorabilia related to popular TV series and movies.

Deluxe Tours

Alongside the standard Studio Tour, Warner Bros now offers a Deluxe Studio Tour. This experience dives deeper into post-production facilities, featuring a three-course lunch in the commissary. Deluxe Tours run once daily at 10 am.

History

Warner Bros. Pictures was founded in 1918 by the four Warner brothers, who had a successful movie theater business. Early challenges led Warner Bros. to innovate, producing the first film with synchronized sound, The Jazz Singer, in 1927. They further distinguished themselves as the first to release an all-color talking feature in 1929.
The current studio in Burbank, CA, established in 1926, was acquired by Warner Bros. in 1928 with profits from The Jazz Singer. Igniting a legacy, Warner Bros. has consistently been at the forefront of filmmaking, welcoming iconic shows like Ellen and The Big Bang Theory.

Exterior Sets

The Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood offers guided visits to various outdoor production locations via a small tram. At each stop, you can disembark to explore. Locations include the reconstructed Brownstone Street (now Ashley Boulevard) and New York Street, famously recognized from HBO’s ER. Inside a Soundstage

The Picture Car Museum

Opened in 2009, the Picture Car Museum displays a variety of iconic vehicles from major films. The exhibits include the Tumbler from The Dark Knight, several Batmobiles, and other legendary vehicles from cinematic history.
