6. How to Get to Sukau
Sukau is located approximately three hours from Sandakan. Most hotels and hostels in Sandakan offer package tours that include transportation; however, taking a daily minibus is a more economical alternative. Minibuses leave Sandakan daily around 1 p.m. from the waterfront area, costing around $11 one way.

7. When to Go
