Kanto Lampo Waterfall

Kanto Lampo is a picturesque waterfall cascading down rocky terrain into a serene natural pool. The water level is shallow enough for children to enjoy (approximately knee-high during our visit in August), but it does deepen upstream (up to chest height).

This popular attraction has garnered attention from many tourists, but it remains less crowded than other nearby falls. Nevertheless, it’s advisable to tread carefully as the rocks can be quite slippery. A local photographer is available for taking stunning pictures for a small tip (10k Rupiah is customary).

The name “Kanto Lampo” is thought to be inspired by a rare exotic fruit found in the vicinity, although it wasn’t observed during our visit. Exploring the area reveals intriguing rock carvings, a small bat cave, and a stunning viewpoint across the river.

Overall, Kanto Lampo is undoubtedly one of Bali’s finest waterfalls!
