Stunning Korawa Beach Viewpoint in Nusa Penida, Bali

Korawa Beach is a cool little ‘cliff beach’ located on the west side of Nusa Penida island.

Many blogs mistakenly confuse this place with the renowned Diamond Beach. In reality, it is situated on an entirely different side of the island, and the two locations are not related at all.

Korawa Beach Overlook

There are several lovely overlooks at Korawa Beach where you can admire the cliffs, ocean, and beach below.

The beach itself is quite small and not particularly remarkable, and during my visit, it was mostly concealed due to high tide.

Accessing the beach on foot is very challenging (or practically impossible), though this may change in the future. Nonetheless, the viewpoints are impressive and this spot can easily be added to any west Penida itinerary.

Moreover, many snorkeling boat tours visit this bay to observe manta rays. Therefore, you can enjoy watching the boats and mantas while relaxing on the cliffs above.

Korawa Beach is located on the west side of Nusa Penida island.

It can be reached by car or scooter, which takes about a one-hour drive from the main docks and accommodations in northern Penida.

Exercise caution if traveling by scooter, as the road conditions can be rough and potentially hazardous in some areas if you do not proceed slowly!
