West Cliff Overlook

Upon arriving at the Manta Point parking area, visitors are greeted by a picturesque row of towering cliffs on the west. Take a moment to appreciate the stunning views from this vantage point.

In the distance, you will notice the charming blue stairway leading to Peguyangan Falls, and even further back, the faint outline of Batu Siha Beach and Saren Cliff Point come into view.

The temple situated atop this cliff boasts a breathtaking backdrop that rivals popular spots like Uluwatu Temple. Moreover, a path leads down to the beach, which is yet to be fully explored.

This incredible panorama is just the beginning—keep wandering to discover even more scenic views.

Yellow Petal Temple

If you navigate southwest from the parking area, you will come across a striking Hindu temple constructed from bright white stone, unexpectedly situated in a remote location.

Known as Pura Sekar Kuning, or Yellow Petal Temple, it derives its name from the surrounding flowers.

During my visit, the temple was quiet and empty. If you don a sarong, you are welcome to enter and explore its beauty.

Manta Point Overlook

By rounding the corner of the temple, a small path leads toward the main overlook: Manta Point.

This brief three-minute walk, cutting through some bushes, offers a chance to spot playful monkeys along the way.

The overlook serves as an ideal location to relax and observe the snorkeling boats whizzing by, and if you’re fortunate, you may witness manta rays gliding through the water below.

We spent a couple of hours here in serenity, flying a drone over the cliffs without encountering another soul!
