Georgetown

Located just north of Austin in the scenic Texas Hill Country, the city of Georgetown is the seat of Williamson County. Thanks to its scenic beauty and historic charm, Georgetown has also become a popular stop for visitors to the Hill Country Region. Hailed as the “Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas,” Georgetown’s downtown district is centered around the Williamson County Courthouse. The entire downtown area is filled with unique shops and restaurants housed in historic Victorian-era buildings. Georgetown hosts numerous events and festivals throughout the year, offering visitors a myriad of outdoor recreational opportunities.

Wimberley

Wimberley is a quaint little village in the Texas Hill Country, situated just an hour’s drive to either Austin or San Antonio. Additionally, Wimberley is conveniently located near many Hill Country attractions and is home to a host of specialty shops and restaurants. Cozy inns and cabins are readily available for visitors wishing to linger overnight in Wimberley.

Port Isabel

Originally known as “Point Isabel,” this seaside town with its famous lighthouse dates back to the early 1800s. Today, Port Isabel is home to several first-class restaurants, museums, and shops, making it an excellent starting point for fishermen and bird watchers alike. Visitors can choose to stay overnight at one of several hotels in Port Isabel or embark on day trips from South Padre Island or Brownsville.

Victoria

Victoria is strategically located near the midpoint of the Texas Gulf Coast region. It is steeped in history and offers a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities, including kayaking along the Guadalupe River, fishing at Coleto Creek Reservoir, and exploring an extensive nature walk at Riverside Park. Furthermore, a variety of restaurants and shops enhance the experience in the downtown area.

San Marcos
