Air France has unveiled the interiors of its new, fully retrofitted fleet of Airbus A330s, providing travelers an exclusive look into the enhancements in its business class, premium economy, and economy cabins.
The airline plans to retrofit 15 of its Airbus A330 aircraft from now through 2020, with the new configuration including 36 business class seats, 21 premium economy seats, and 167 economy seats.
The aircraft feature entirely new seats and cabin interiors designed for enhanced comfort and luxury.
Business Class Innovations
In the business cabin, the seats can convert into lie-flat beds, measuring 78.7 inches long and 22.4 inches wide.
A sliding panel between seats guarantees privacy, while modern ambient lighting and luxurious leather interiors create a sophisticated atmosphere.
Passengers can enjoy state-of-the-art 18.5-inch HD touch screens, complemented by a self-service bar stocked with gourmet snacks and beverages.
Amenities and Service
Business class travelers will receive amenity kits filled with quality grooming products as well as complimentary champagne and French candies upon arrival.
Premium Economy Experience
Air France boasts “one of the widest seats” in the premium economy class, offering 19 inches in width with a seat pitch of 40 inches.
The fixed shell seat reclines to 130 degrees, complete with lumbar support for optimal comfort, enhanced seat cushions, and wider leather armrests.
Premium economy seats also include a 13.3-inch HD screen, two USB ports, feather pillows, blankets, and amenity kits filled with travel essentials.
Economy Class Features
In economy class, each seat allows a 118-degree recline and provides 31 inches of legroom, complete with personal power outlets and USB ports. The airline has also increased the size of tray tables and expanded seatback touch screens to 11.7 inches, enhancing overall convenience.
Inflight Connectivity
Passengers will benefit from inflight Wi-Fi, with three internet access options: a free message pass for sending and receiving texts, a surf pass for general internet access starting at approximately $3.50, and a stream pass for multimedia streaming and file downloads available for about $34.
Flight Destinations
The upgraded A330s are set to fly to various destinations, including Accra, Ouagadougou, Houston, Cotonou, Lagos, Niamey, Bengaluru, Delhi, Seattle, Chicago, and Dallas.
