Emirates COVID-19 Medical Coverage for Travelers
Emirates has announced that it will cover medical expenses of up to €150,000 (US$174,456) and quarantine costs of €100 ($116) per day for 14 days for passengers diagnosed with during their travels. This coverage is applicable to passengers flying into or other destinations worldwide, regardless of the class of travel—economy, business, or first class. Notably, this is offered at no additional cost to the passenger.
Coverage Details
This cover is effective immediately for customers flying on Emirates until 31 October 2020. The first flight must be completed on or before that date, and the cover remains valid for 31 days from the first leg of their journey. Consequently, travelers can continue to benefit from the cover even if they travel onwards to another city after arriving at their Emirates destination.

Accessing The Coverage
Customers do not need to undergo any registration or fill in forms before traveling to avail of the cover provided by Emirates. This lack of obligation allows travelers the freedom to choose whether they wish to utilize the coverage. If they do choose to use it, any passenger diagnosed with COVID-19 during their travel simply has to contact a dedicated hotline for assistance and coverage specifics.
