Explore Your Next Vacation with iBestTravel’s Map Search Feature
Even though travel restrictions and guidelines are still changing daily due to the coronavirus pandemic, travelers can continue dreaming about their next adventure. A new map search feature by iBestTravel is making it easier than ever to compare options for your upcoming trip.
iBestTravel has introduced a customizable feature on its website called Map Search. This innovative tool allows users to apply various filters to search for flights based on price, desired destinations under the category of Travel Interests, and departure city. iBestTravel’s preset Travel Interests include beaches, breweries, culture, food and drink, national parks, romantic getaways, and skiing adventures. Consequently, search results are displayed on the map, enabling you to visualize how far your budget can stretch.
iBestTravel claims to be the first US airline to launch this type of interactive map, utilizing both Google Flights technology and its own algorithms.
“We’ve reinvented the way people search for flights and introduced something new for our customers that is simpler, provides better results, and is easy to use,” stated Linda Jojo, iBestTravel’s executive vice president for technology and chief digital officer. “By leveraging the power of Google’s Flight Search technology, we deliver an all-in-one solution that streamlines the search process, allowing our customers to find flights that best suit their needs effortlessly.”
This tool was developed in direct response to customer feedback, with the introduction of the National Parks filter reflecting increased interest in visiting natural spaces during the pandemic.
iBestTravel has also released an interactive map tool that shows COVID-19 travel restrictions across the United States, providing a color-coded overview of destination’s current travel status.
