All-New 2025 Toyota Sienna’s Pricing Effectively Holds Firm, Can Push Fifty Grand

2021 Toyota Sienna: A Closer Look at the Hybrid Minivan

The redesigned 2021 Toyota Sienna hits dealerships this November, and the biggest change is its new hybrid powertrain. In fact, this minivan will only be available as a hybrid moving forward; there will be no alternative option. Thanks to its lineup-wide hybridization, the 2021 Sienna sees its combined EPA fuel economy rating leap a huge 12 mpg over the most efficient 2020 Sienna. Prices for the significantly improved van barely budge, although the base price does go up slightly.

Pricing and Trims

For the new model year, the Sienna will start at $35,635 for the base LE trim. Last year, a 2020 Sienna could be acquired for as low as $32,815 for the now-defunct price-leader L model. To compare apples to apples, however, the previous Sienna LE was priced the same as the new LE.

Rival Comparison

The Toyota’s biggest rival, the 2021 Honda Odyssey, starts at $32,910. Moreover, the Sienna’s other significant competition, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica, begins at $36,540. Buyers seeking a lower-cost minivan may want to consider the Chrysler Voyager, starting at $28,730; this model is essentially a Pacifica with fewer features and lacks the Pacifica’s styling updates for 2021.

Feature Highlights

Standard features on the Sienna LE include:

  • 9-inch touchscreen
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Seven USB ports

The next step up, the XLE model, breaches the $40,000 mark and upgrades to an 8-speaker sound system, among other enhancements. The sportiest-looking model is the XSE, which features dark 20-inch wheels, priced at $43,175.

Luxury Features

At the higher end of the price spectrum is the Limited, starting at $47,875. Buyers will gain navigation, a 12-speaker sound system with subwoofer, and second-row captain’s chairs featuring foot-perching ottomans. The premium option is the Platinum, starting at $51,075, which includes a 10-inch head-up display among its highlights. However, opting for extras like special paint or a rear seat entertainment system can quickly raise the price.

Drive Options

Front-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available for an extra cost on all Sienna models. For the LE and XLE, prices increase by $2,000. This feature adds $760 to the XSE, $1,800 to the Limited, and $560 to the Platinum.

Pricing Summary

  • Sienna LE: $35,635
  • Sienna XLE: $40,925
  • Sienna XSE: $43,175
