However, your only concern should be reaching its most stunning destinations. While some may dream of driving a classic Italian Vespa, navigating the Amalfi Coast’s notoriously treacherous roads can be a daunting task.

The towns between Amalfi and Salerno are easily accessible by ferry or the 5570 SITA bus. However, note that the last ferry from Positano leaves in the late afternoon during high season, so planning is essential.

This hilltop village is just a brief bus ride from Amalfi (SITA 5110), but be prepared to transfer if you’re based elsewhere.

The Path of the Gods

Catching the 5080 bus from Amalfi to Agerola (Bomerano) will lead you to the starting point of this iconic clifftop hike. After hiking, reward yourself with a refreshing lemon slushie in Nocelle before descending the (1700!) steps to Positano.

Coastal Beaches and Natural Wonders

The 5570 SITA bus will take you to the Fiordo di Furore and Conca dei Marini beaches, as well as the Grotta dello Smeraldo, known for its phosphorescent green waters. While both locations are close, it’s advisable to choose just one to avoid coordinating bus schedules.
