American Airlines Introduces Nonstop Flights to Caribbean and Latin America for Winter 2025

New Flights Announcement

American Airlines is announcing an exciting expansion of its flight offerings this winter, targeting some of the most sought-after vacation destinations. The airline plans to increase its seat capacity from the United States to the Caribbean and Latin America, boasting a 10 percent increase compared to winter 2022.

Caribbean Destinations

The carrier’s hub airport in Charlotte, North Carolina (CLT) will feature nonstop daily flights to various popular destinations, including:

  • Belize City, Belize (BZE)
  • Curaçao (CUR)
  • Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR)
  • Los Cabos, Mexico (SJD)
  • Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic (POP)
  • St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands (STX)

Additionally, CLT will offer five daily flights to and from Cancun, Mexico (CUN), and four flights each day servicing Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ), Puerto Plata (POP), and Punta Cana (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic.

Dallas-Fort Worth Routes

For travelers intending to explore Mexico, American Airlines is providing more than 50 daily departures from its Dallas-Fort Worth hub (DFW) to popular destinations such as:

  • Acapulco (ACA)
  • Puerto Vallarta (PVR)
  • Los Cabos (SJD)

Nashville and Cincinnati Services

Moreover, American Airlines has introduced brand-new flight routes that will commence from Nashville and Cincinnati to Cancun, Mexico. This service is slated to operate every Saturday, beginning on December 9.

Miami International Update

Another significant hub for American Airlines, Miami International Airport (MIA), will expand its service with twice-daily flights to several key destinations, including:

  • Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago (POS)
  • Santiago, Dominican Republic (STI)
  • Tortola, British Virgin Islands (EIS)
