Annie Gabillet is a seasoned traveler, editor, and content strategist. Through her extensive research and adventures, she uncovers the best travel products and insider tips. Having lived in Paris with her two daughters and French husband, she now resides in San Francisco, her hometown. She’s been published in the New York Times and PopSugar, where she began her career in 2007.
With visits to 28 countries, some of Annie’s favorite destinations include the Alps, Portugal, Japan, Morocco, and California Wine Country. She enjoys exploring major global cities, as much as she loves active vacations involving skiing or hiking. Furthermore, she has a passion for train travel, maximizing airline miles, and efficient packing, a task that can be quite challenging when traveling with kids. However, she is always up for that challenge!

Moreover, she has collaborated with exciting brands, including Summersalt swimwear and Château du Fey, a 400-year-old castle in Burgundy that hosts artist residencies and an annual festival. Consequently, she is always eager to plan her next adventure, ensuring she has the perfect outfits, luggage, and gear tailored for each destination.
Annie is committed to simplifying travel logistics. She never travels without her packing cubes, which she also utilizes in her home dressers. Education
Annie majored in Political Science at Santa Clara University. During her college years, she participated in a year abroad through Syracuse University, focusing on European Politics in Strasbourg, France, and History in Florence, Italy. Recently, she has continued to foster her passion for learning by taking intensive French language courses in Paris.
