Looking to take a trip to Italy without digging up your passport? Just head to Las Vegas and stay at the Bellagio instead.
The long-beloved Sin City institution just revealed renderings of the $110-million renovation of all the rooms and suites in its Spa Tower. According to a statement provided, the hotel is set to deliver an updated look inspired by the beauty of Lake Como.
“Bellagio’s commitment to delivering unparalleled accommodations, experiences, and guest service for our discerning guests from around the world is the hallmark of our brand promise,” Ann Hoff, president and COO of Bellagio, said. “The Spa Tower’s beautiful and luxurious new suites and guest rooms will reinforce our position as one of the hospitality industry’s premier destinations.”
The Spa Tower redesign, which includes its 819 guest rooms and 104 suites, is slated for completion in October; however, the first collection of renovated rooms will be available for stays starting this July.
The updated suites were designed in partnership with New York City-based Champalimaud Design. The new suites are adorned in calming neutral and earth tones, meant to mimic the “natural vibrancy of Lake Como and the Alps.” Moreover, the design team focused on creating an environment that evokes a sense of tranquility.
Design choices include the color garnet to symbolize the “pomegranate found in the Mediterranean,” alongside an azure blue inspired by the lakes, and dusty rose and jade hues reflecting local flora. Furthermore, the pale beige walls are meant to evoke the charm of tiny villages in northern Italy. The hallways outside the rooms enhance the luxurious experience, featuring deep midnight blue doors highlighted by handmade Italian light fixtures.
In each suite, guests can relax on the plush sofas and chairs in the living areas, sprawl out on soft beds, or enjoy spacious ultra-luxe bathrooms complete with white marble surfaces and motion-sensor lights. Consequently, this thoughtful design ensures comfort while maintaining an elegant atmosphere.
“We wanted to create a residential aesthetic with the timeless sense of luxury that is uniquely Bellagio,” Winston Kong, a partner at Champalimaud Design, mentioned.
The updated Spa Tower guest rooms, crafted in partnership with the Chicago-based interior design firm The Gettys Group, provide a similar level of comfort. Soft furnishings paired with neutral undertones create an inviting ambiance that is perfect for relaxation. Both the suites and guest rooms are designed to be a soothing refuge from the lively action outside on the Strip. Guests can still catch a glimpse of the glittering Vegas lights by simply pulling back their window curtains. For more information about your stay, visit bellagio.mgmresorts.com.
