The Innovative Booking Platform

The account, part of the travel inspiration company Tripscout, has introduced a unique booking platform within the social media app. This feature allows users to access exclusive private rates, which can range from 25% to 75% less than publicly available prices, according to the company.

Konrad Waliszewski, CEO of Tripscout, shared, “You may only travel a few times a year, but if you love to travel, you think about it every single day. We wanted to be the first company that embraces that and builds a genuine relationship with our customers every step of their journey, from inspiration to planning to booking.”

Exclusive Discounts and Offers

Claiming to be the first online travel agent for Instagram, users can start by sending a DM with the word “hotel” to @Hotel. The company claims that in response, a chatbot will provide a private booking link offering the steepest discounts available, essentially enabling users to secure a 5-star hotel for the price of a 3-star.

This pricing strategy is possible because publicly listed rates must adhere to certain parity rules. By offering special prices through chat, they effectively reduce costs significantly. Additionally, the company has cultivated a following of nearly 30 million across various travel-related brands, and this volume aids in securing better deals.

Moreover, Tripscout aims to engage directly with users on Instagram to streamline the hotel booking experience.
