Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa Coming to Indian Wells, California

Tommy Bahama is officially making its way to Indian Wells, California. On Tuesday, the clothing and gear brand announced it would work with Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells to reinvent the hotel as the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa.

Resort Features and Amenities

As the first Tommy Bahama resort, the destination will bring the Tommy Bahama lifestyle and design aesthetic to one epic property slated to open in late 2023. The current hotel will remain fully open to guests throughout the renovation. The updated Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa will include:

• A new restaurant concept.
• A transformed bar experience.
• A new retail boutique.
• Reimagined public spaces.
• 215 bespoke rooms, including 23 suites.
• 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
• Three sprawling pools.
• A massive 12,000-square-foot spa offering signature treatments.

Every inch of the resort will reflect the Tommy Bahama ethos, ensuring guests enjoy laid-back charm, colorful prints, and a rejuvenating retreat.

Partnership and Renovation Plans

This project is seen as a natural progression for the Tommy Bahama brand. Doug Wood, CEO of Tommy Bahama, stated, “We have been discussing the idea of a Tommy Bahama resort for decades. Our brand’s aesthetic and guest feedback support our evolution into new areas of the hospitality industry. The Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa is a great way for us to extend our brand and provide the resort experience our guests are looking for.”

To bring this vision to life, Tommy Bahama is partnering with Lowe, a commercial real estate investment company with 50 years of experience in the Coachella Valley.
