Luxury Resort Overview
Mandarin Oriental, Canouan, is a luxury resort located in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, renowned for bringing the trending overwater bungalow experience to its part of the Caribbean.
Exclusive Spa Bungalows
In February, the resort unveiled its latest offerings, including two overwater spa bungalows, in addition to its 26 suites and 13 villas. Guests can indulge in a range of renewals, with the bungalows accessible only by boat, ensuring an ultra-private and serene atmosphere. Moreover, a new all-day spa package is being introduced to elevate guests’ relaxation experiences.
Guests can begin their experience at the spa’s oceanfront reception, where they will receive a custom consultation. Afterward, they will be swiftly transported via a short boat ride to one of the two treatment bungalows. Each bungalow features a complete indoor suite, a stunning outdoor balcony with views of the sea and island, a glass floor for a unique view of the Caribbean Sea beneath, a steam shower, and a private dressing room.
The Overwater Wonder Package
The ultimate vacation package, dubbed the Overwater Wonder, is designed for couples seeking a rejuvenating getaway. Priced from $7,500 for two, this package kicks off with a guided hike led by the resort’s naturalist, taking guests to the breathtaking summit of Mount Royal. This hike provides stunning vistas of nearby islands such as Mayreau, Union Island, Carriacou, and Petit St. Vincent. At the peak, refreshing homemade juices, power bars, and local fruits await.
Upon returning, guests will have the unique opportunity to select their own seafood under the guidance of the resort’s executive chef at the dock. Following this, they will check-in at the spa’s oceanfront reception, where they can indulge in signature therapies that include a foot ritual, Tibetan bowl chant, Grenadines salt scrub, and more.
Later in the afternoon, guests embark on a private guided snorkeling excursion, culminating in a delightful picnic lunch at Twin Bay. Following the excursion, they are returned to the spa bungalows for additional treatments, including an aloe body wrap, a four-hand massage, and a facial, concluding with a private celebration in the bungalow featuring a Champagne toast.
As the sun begins to set, guests are invited to an award-winning golf course for a cocktail on the 13th hole, followed by a private beachfront dinner at Godahl Beach, featuring the specially chosen fish from the morning.
