From beautifully appointed rooms to exceptional dining options and innovative cocktails, The Chloe has everything you need for a memorable getaway. Moreover, the hotel features a serene pool area, creating an oasis amidst the bustling city.

Set the Scene

Located in Uptown New Orleans, The Chloe provides a distinctly local feel, especially during quieter tourist seasons. In this way, The Chloe often serves as a living room for residents seeking an all-day retreat that isn’t their backyard. The art-filled parlours here are ideal for socializing, while the secluded outdoor space and pool area feature a separate bar known for serving refreshing frozen Margaritas. Consequently, the clientele consists mainly of stylish thirty- and forty-somethings, creating a vibrant social atmosphere that transforms on weekends with live music events.

The Backstory

With roots dating back to 1891, The Chloe has experienced various transformations throughout its history. Originally designed by architect Thomas Sully for merchant Henry Picard, the building later became a boarding house infested with cats, then a guesthouse, until it was revitalized by LeBlanc + Smith, a renowned local company recognized for its neighborhood-focused restaurants and bars. Much of The Chloe’s original charm has been preserved and restored, showcasing elegant details such as regal wainscoting in the bar and beautifully crafted gold-and-cerulean floor tiles at the entrance.
